The long term program includes:

• An opportunity to be involved with *Funda Vida, as well as the local churches and their programs and to work with at risk children
• Opportunities to do home visitation
• Further training in ministry and servant leadership skills
• Helping to facilitate some of the work projects with visiting teams
• A greater opportunity to develop relationships with those in a foreign country
• An opportunity for any student to complete his/her studies from this location, with internet access
• Living in a home together, which creates an environment to understand Christian community
• A life of learning how to be responsible in caring for others
• Learning how to seek first the Kingdom of God
• Being discipled and discipling others

Language school is extra, but recommended.
A long term program like this is beneficial in many ways for those who commit to this program, and for the support team at the house. It may also give an opportunity for individuals to discover whether or not missions may truly be a calling on their lives.

*Funda Vida is an affiliate of Pura Vida, an organization that helps at risk children in impoverished countries by selling fair trade coffee. All of the proceeds go towards Pura Vida's programs in these countries. You may learn more by going to www.puravidacoffee.com

Important Information

The cost for this long term program is $450 per person, per month. This includes food and lodging.

Any other costs, such as language shool, bus fair, traveling on days off, restaurants, etc. are extra. The language shool that we recommend is about $120 per month.

Each person will be required to fill out an application and to have recommendations from his/her pastor and an acquaintance.

What will I experience?

• You will develop your God given giftings, while you minister in local communities
• You will assist visiting mission teams
• and develop relationships and language skills while ministering to those in need.
